WEDNESDAY, 12 AUGUST 1863, Derby Mercury 6854,
Smalley Petty Sessions August 10 – William GRANGER and Thomas HEWSON were brought up in custody charged by Thomas WATSON of Awsworth in Nottingham with stealing 3/- 1s, his property. The Magistrates considered the charge clearly proved against them, and committed them to trial and the next quarter sessions.
