Bilborough, Nottinghamshire

Bilborough, November 7th 1890

While checking out that a fallen tree was not dangerious or a hazard, to the resident of the village, I had a conversation with the Rev John Edge on how the church got its name, it is in the book of Saints, about a Roman centurion called Martin gave half his clock to a begger to keep warm, later that night Martin had a dream and he is said "to have seen his half clock he gave to he begger on Jesus`s right arm" .
