Went to St Martins to see my grandson William baptised, there father and mother, William and Elizabeth Woodward were so proud, as it is there first child.

Bilborough mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1085 as belonging to Ambrose, originaly being of Saxon Design. the overlord being William Peverell who was the illigitimate son, of William the Concqueror.
