My aim is to research the history, it's people, places, folklore, memories and stories of the Broxtowe Hundred and make it's records, images, memories and stories accessible and available to anyone.

The Broxtowe Hundred is the area West of Nottingham seven miles wide and seventeen miles long and containing thirty four Parishes.

Stretching from Toton & Brewhouse yard in Nottingham in the South to Teversal & Mansfield in the North.

Our research in the Hundreds is not limited by time, as I am retired and give my time freely (but we only have our pensions) but by the cost of fuel (an average trip out into the Hundred is seventy miles) and the purchase of records (to transcribe and put on line for free access).
