5 [Middleton collection] ref. Mi 2/55/31 - date: 2 October 1427, John de Brounesley, son of Robert de Brounesley enfeoffs his son and heir William, his wife Agnes and their lawful issue with his capital messuage in Trowell which Peter de Strelley holds for a term of years from John's demise along with 6 bovates of land with meadows, woods, pastures and pasturage and 4 acres of meadow in the fee of the Priory of Sempringham on the north of the town of Trowell; also messuages and various lands and rents which Robert Abbot, Robert de Byley and Richard Diot respectively hold and pay (full details in deed) with reversions of all to John and his heirs.

The book I made reference to is a very good one, ENGLISH CHURCH FURNITURE, by Cox and Harvey, published in 1907, There is no description of the Pugin font in this book, rather Strelley is simply listed under Nottinghamshire (on p. 214) as having a font of the Decorated period.
